What you looking at... Whitbread?

Only if Norwich City was Sandwich City because they would have a defender with a fitting name supporting the meat of their team. This man is American defender Zak Whitbread, playing for newly promoted EPL side Norwich City. I must claim I am ignorant in my knowledge of him and his skill set, but the fact he plays abroad rings a bell and makes me wonder...is he National Team potential? He is a former Liverpool youth and US under 20 defender who has been trudging around the lower leagues of England for a while playing at Millwall and Norwich. On 16 March 2011, he was called to the USMNT camp prior to there friendly with Argentina but he was sustaining a niggeling an injury, preventing him from making the squad. So keep your eye on him for next year, which won't be to hard considering he will be gracing the Premier League. Everyone likes a little Whitbread...especially with some tunafish.
