Liverpool have agreed to accept the ₤20 million price tag for Stewart Downing reports say. The Aston Villa winger is heading to Melwood, Liverpool's training facility to discuss personal terms and receive a medical. If everything is kosher, the signing of Downing will be Liverpool's third big money signing this summer after securing Jordan Henderson and Charlie Adam. All I can say is Andy Carroll will have some fantastic service to his pony-tailed head next season. Look Out!
