Fernando Torres Finds Net

Akin to a bloodhound without a nose, the once keeper terrorizing, subject of nets nightmares Fernando Torres has finally scored his first Premier League goal in 6 months. That's right people 6 months, half a year. For a striker worth 50 million pounds that's a horrendous record. For A player I absolutely adore I can personally say that I am very happy for the blond-ie locked Spaniard. You can see the pure joy on the mans face as he beats Villa's keeper Given. Look what it means to the fans...Ecstasy.

Keeper beats Keeper

In Everton's 1-2 loss against Bolton Wanderers Everton's keeper Tim Howard launched a back pass from his box that took a bounce over Bolton's keeper Adam Bogdan to score his first goal of the season(tongue & cheek). A game where the weather played a factor, the ball seemed to be swept up by the wind landing in the goal just out of reach of the flailing Bogdan. A keeper scoring a goal is a sight not seen very often....truly spectacular.

Hammer of Thor!

Supposedly Martin Jol has made a transfer bid to sign John Arne Riise that would see him join his brother Bjorn Helge Riise at Fulham. This son of Thor who spent 7 years at Liverpool, until he was sold to Roma now might be returning to the EPL, which excites me! He's got everything,  wonderful overlapping runs from his left back position, hammer of a left foot, and a few blunders in his locker ( ask Liverpool fans). If the deal goes through I can confidently say that I won't be the only one who will be delighted to see Arne back in the British game!
