The latest edition of funny football commercials, represented here by this Fifa 12 Christmas commercial featuring Wayne Rooney,  Gerard Pique, Jack Wilshere, Tim Cahill and Kaka. The best part is when Pique says, " I don't want socks." Classic.

Fifa 12 Top MLS Rated Players.

With the release of Fifa 12 last week the world wide footballing public is once again presented with how their teams players' stand in terms numerical rating. With the top players of Messi and Ronaldo in the upper echelons of the 80's into the 90's, many fans wonder how their beloved MLS players stack up.  Looking at the list below you can clearly see that the LA Galaxy and NY Redbulls are well represented.

Having not yet bought the game, I remain interested in how the likes of Brek Shea  and Fredy Montero  rank compared toBeckham and Henry.

Kasabian New Album Release Sept 20

'Velociraptor' is the newest album from the British giants Kasabian, the first since the famed West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum released in 2009. One of England's biggest bands have carved out a sound for themselves that stands alone against the masses, with  blunt british lead , backed up by the high winey vocals,  of guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, electronic undertones and garage licks.  A sound that goes hand in hand with football, and a sound that is dear to my heart. The Album is released Monday, and available for pre-order on sites like Amazon and  itunes. Judging by the sample tracks they have released as appetizers I can tell it's gonna be a cracker,

For all you that have been working out your thumb's and phalanges in wait of the epic epic-ness that is the yearly release of  EA's Fifa, your almost there. The official release is the 30th of September so mark your calendar and load that ice box full of cold beer. It seems that every year the new Fifa is the "best" ever created, making some sense with all off the new improvements that can be developed in a year.  Fifa 12 promises the most fluid gameplay, newest showboats, De Jong scissor kicks and even Wayne Rooney's advancing hairline, can't wait!
